Emergency Paediatric First Aid
3rg’s Paediatric First Aid course covers the role and responsibilities of the paediatric first-aider, allowing the carer to provide first aid for an infant or a child who is unresponsive and breathing normally. Be able to provide first aid for an infant or a child who has a foreign body airway obstruction, be able to administer first aid to an infant or a child with head and spinal injuries, how to administer first aid to an infant or a child who has sustained an electric shock
Emergency First Aid at Work
Learners will gain the skills and knowledge of an Emergency First Aider that can provide treatment to their casualties in a prompt, safe and effective manner. Satisfying the requirements of the regulatory body for First Aid – the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
Paediatric First Aid

First Aid at Work
This course covers all aspects of First Aid and meets the requirements of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. The course is suitable for those staff who must obtain a First Aid At Work certificate and become designated First Aiders. The aim of the course is to equip delegates with the essential knowledge and practical experience to enable them to carry out first aid in the workplace.
Re-qualification First Aid Courses
A First Aider can renew their First Aid qualification by attending a 2-day requalification course without question if it’s within 1 month past the expiry date 3rg First Aid offers the following requalification courses First Aid at Work – 2 days
First Aid Response – 2 days
First Person On Scene intermediate – 2 days
Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
This qualification is aimed at individuals wishing to take further training or to develop their knowledge and skills in Basic Life Support and Safe Use of Automated External Defibrillation (AED) as recommended by The Resuscitation Council (UK).
Mini Medics
First Aid is an important life skill and the course is kept at a basic level with no use of confusing
terminologies. At the very least, the child will be able to make an effective emergency telephone call
which may be enough to save someone’s life.
Specialist First Aid Courses
This course covers a higher level of First Aid, providing pre-hospital care for medical emergencies accredited by Highfield (HABC). Students will receive a greater level of instruction than someone who is trained in basic first aid. First responders typically provide advanced first aid level care, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and automated external defibrillator usage.
